The holiday season is fast approaching, while this usually means a serious increase in business activity, it is absolutely crucial that you make sure you are set up for success. See our tips on how to make the most out of this holiday season:

Assess demand and plan accordingly 

Take a look at what your figures looked like last year for the same period and take into account this year’s month-on-month growth. While holiday demand can be volatile and every year is different than the next, try to come up with an estimate you are happy with. You are better off slightly over-planning than you are under-planning. Once you have your figures, stock your products/references accordingly. And keep in mind: customers are doing their Xmas shopping earlier than ever this year, so don’t get caught unprepared. Spruce up your holiday displays and show customers

If you have physical stores and displays, muster all your creative might and show customers what you’re made of. Everyone loves Christmas displays so make sure you are enticing customers with bright and colourful social media posts to get their attention.

Social media is cool and can be effective but email marketing is still, to this day, an excellent, cost-effective way to get sales. Make sure you have a email marketing plan for this holiday season; you can use those campaigns to communicate special holiday sales, selected items for him/her, creative content and imagery that will surprise and delight your customers. The key is to stay top-of-mind without bugging your customers too much.

Sure, you knew we were going to say that.
