My previous role was working as an account executive at Uber Eats. I focused on bringing new SMB restaurants onto the platform and was responsible for the full sales cycle. It was fun working for a big company that everyone knew about. I was keen to start my next chapter of my career with an exciting up and coming company with huge growth potential and was lucky enough to be offered a role at Sherpa. I hope to implement my skills here and create a positive impact on the business.
I guess they are kind of similar in terms of both being a delivery service but one of the main big differences is what is being delivered. Ready to eat food vs everything else. It’s amazing how many different sectors and industries can leverage Sherpa to help grow their business which I think gives Sherpa a big advantage moving forward. It’s really exciting to join the team and become a part of the journey.
I think it’s awesome being involved in such a multi-cultural office. It’s always cool to learn new things about different cultures and meet people from different ways of life.
I guess globally it’s been a bit of a weird year with the pandemic. However, with that comes exciting new opportunities from a personal level as well as a business level such as Sherpa which is able to accelerate during these times. I’m excited for what the rest of the year has in store.
I hope I can bring my positive attitude to the team to work hard and succeed together. For me, defining success is to be able to look back, reflect and be happy with the work that has been achieved.
I’ve always found that working together as a sales team rather than individuals really helps to bring out more success. Whether that’s sharing information about certain things or holding each other accountable, I think it’s all important. At the end of the day, everyone is working for the same team so why not build a workplace culture that is going to help everyone be their best and reach new heights.
The Sherpa team is growing rapidly. Stay tuned for more staff spotlights in the coming weeks.
