The CEO CookOff by the team at OzHarvest is an annual event where celebrity chefs and company CEOs come together to test their culinary skills and cook food for thousands of underprivileged people under one roof.
This year I teamed up with Luke Powell from LP’s Quality Meats of Chippendale to cook some delicious Vege Burgers, Smoked Sausages with Lentils in broth that was topped off with an amazing dessert from Blackstar Pastry.
It was an amazing night with so many hungry people being fed who of course were super thankful. To top if off one of my favourites, Jimmy Barnes rocked out the crowd with Cold Chisel favourites such as Khe San and Flame trees. I will be definitely taking part in 2018.
The combined culinary skills and fundraising efforts of Australia’s top chefs and CEOs came to fruition last night as close to $1.7 million was raised at OzHarvest’s CEO CookOff held at The Cutaway, Barangaroo. The fundraising total will allow OzHarvest to deliver 3.4 million meals to help feed vulnerable people across Australia.
